Reglementation de la recherche

In Cameroon, health research ethics has made remarkable progress since 2009 till date. This thanks to the political will and with the support of development partners. In 12 years Cameroon has been able to put in place an ethics evaluation system defining the types, missions and competences of ethics review committees (ERCs).  This system has started with setting up of the national ERC and of two out of 10 expected regional ERCs.

La réglementation internationale et Camerounaise en matière de recherche en santé humaine exige la protection et la sécurité des participants lors de la planification et la mise en oeuvre des projets de recherche. Il s’agit entre autres : de protection contre les risques d’exposition aux interventions et interactions liées à la recherche ; des droits et de la dignité des participants à la recherche.
