CAMEROON POPULATION-BASED HIV IMPACT ASSESSMENT CAMPHIA 2017

CAMPHIA was led by the Government of Cameroon under the Ministry of Health, Division of Health Operations Research (DROS) and National AIDS Control Commission (NACC), and through the National Institute of Statistics (INS).The survey was conducted with funding from the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and technical assistance through the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ICAP at Columbia University.

L’évaluation de l’impact du VIH sur la population au Cameroun 2017-2018 (CAMPHIA) était une enquête nationale et transversale menée auprès des ménages camerounais. Réalisée entre juillet 2017 et février 2018, l’enquête était axée sur la mesure des principaux paramètres biologiques afin de fournir des estimations directes du risque et du fardeau du VIH, ainsi que de l’efficacité et de l’impact sur la population des interventions de prévention, de prise en charge liées au VIH mises en oeuvre dans le pays.
