2024-2030 NATIONAL STRATEGIC PLAN TO FIGHT AGAINST DRUGS
The Ministry of Public Health through the National Drugs Control Committee (NDCC) and the technical supervision of the Department of the Health Promotion (DPS) with the support of the Technical Secretariat of the Health Sector Strategy (TS/HSS) has developed this 2024-2030 National Strategic Plan for the Fight against Drugs (2024-2030 NSPFD).
This document is a recommended strategic planning and methodological framework. It used a participatory approach at all stages of its development, notably the involvement of all structures of the MOH, partner administrations in the health domain, technical and financial partners, learned societies, civil society actors and public and private health facilities.
For the successful monitoring of the implementation of this strategy, two major points must be considered, namely : (i) the necessary reforms ; and (ii) within the framework of decentralization, the definition of roles, responsibilities and monitoring methods at all levels of the health pyramid.
The 2024-2030 NSPFD is therefore a coordination and reference document for all actors involved in the fight against drugs. Hence, I urge all the stakeholders in this fight to take ownership of it and contribute to its effective implementation.
